Toyota Supra on HRE R101LW Forged Wheels

This highly modified Toyota Supra MKV, built by our partners at Ghost Performance in Estonia, was developed with performance and weight reduction in mind. Producing approximately 1,000 hp, the car features a Precision turbo setup, Samsonas sequential gearbox, HKS coilovers, AP Racing Pro Series brakes, Tomei exhaust and an ADRO aerodynamic body kit. Inside, a roll cage and carbon bucket seats further underline the performance-focused nature of the build.

When choosing a new wheel setup, the goal was clear: minimize unsprung weight while fitting the widest practical tires without requiring any modifications to the bodywork. With the power and capability of this Supra, maximizing available mechanical grip was an important part of the wheel and tire specification.

HRE R101 Lightweight forged wheels were selected specifically for their motorsport-focused construction and vehicle-optimized design. The 19×9.5″ front wheels weigh just 16.8 lbs (7.61 kg), while the wider 19×11.0″ rear wheels weigh only 18 lbs (8.15 kg). Combined with 275/30R19 front and 305/30R19 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, the setup provides a substantial contact patch while maintaining proper clearance and fitment.

Finished in Satin Charcoal, the HRE R101 LW complements the functional character of the Supra and provides sufficient clearance for the upgraded AP Racing Pro Series brake system. More importantly, the combination of low wheel weight, optimized sizing and high-performance tires makes the wheel package a functional performance upgrade rather than simply a visual one.
